GASKETS
With many years of continuous development with our joint venture partners and worldwide sourcing, Motive are able to offer a comprehensive range of gaskets at a sensible price level.  By using established gasket manufacturers, Motive has expanded its range to cover a very large percentage of the world’s car parc with gaskets of a high level of quality.  From the manufacturing resources utilised, Motive has developed gaskets for the automobile aftermarket without deflecting from the quality offered by OE. Included in this are the latest style MLS (multi layered steel) head gaskets as well as the layered steel gaskets fitted on most late type vehicles. New developments include the latest version of the new MLS style head gasket for the Rover K18 engine, including shim saver plate. Most of the latest sets also include MLS manifold gaskets; these also make up part of Motives ever increasing range.

Bespoke head gaskets can be made from drawings or samples provided in composite, copper or MLS type materials.  All current head gaskets of composite material are now coated in the latest silicone base coatings giving that extra sealing power.  Specialist rubber mouldings and oil seals can also be competitively produced in small or large production runs from drawings or samples provided.

PISTONS
As one of the main King Piston distributors in the UK, Motive has taken further steps to enhance its piston programme.  Worldwide sourcing has enabled Motive to utilise OE suppliers of pistons to establish a much sought after product range.  Pistons can be produced for all vehicle types including agricultural and marine in various materials and coatings.

VALVES
With the ever-increasing range of engines being developed, engine valves are at the forefront of Motive’s development programme.  Valve replacement is becoming more common and world sourcing has enabled Motive to carry out joint ventures with companies that offer valves to OE standards.  With the added ability of bimetallic material on specified part numbers and the use of CNC machines that will provide that perfect finish, Motive are able to offer a high quality product at that all important price level.  With some of the latest vehicle applications covered, including valve stems at 5mm, much of the worldwide vehicle parc is covered by Motive’s range.

PISTON RINGS
With our joint venture partners, piston rings can be manufactured in most sizes and manufactured to OE standards from a new purpose built factory containing brand new machinery as used by NPR and Perfect Circle.  Sold through Motive Components with the brand name of Powertech in its distinctive livery, most popular applications are catered for including diesel engines.

Manufacture operates under IS9002 guidelines with profile projectors, carbon silicon analysers, metallurgical microscopes, tangential load measuring equipment plus many other forms of quality control equipment are used in the manufacture of these parts.  All this ensures the quality guidelines supply chain that Motive offer.
